Biamp's Qt X software interface allows sound masking system designers to create and customize layouts that define how Qt X sound masking controllers, emitters, speakers, NPX paging stations, and supported audio devices integrate within a floor plan and building infrastructure. The Qt X software allows importing floor plan representations in numerous supported formats that integrate into the software interface, creating a convenient representation of the physical space in which the sound masking system is installed. Sound masking zones are created based on the design requirements. Audio, including sound masking, paging, background music and emergency audio (such as fire alarms), may flow to zones and are set according to priority via logic.
Qt X discovers the physical devices on a network once installed and allows pairing of these devices with the representations in the layout.
Qt X will validate and send a system configuration to the devices in a layout and further allows users to save, load, and edit system designs. Qt X has numerous options to customize the look and feel of designs and the overall user interface of the design software.
